New Working Paper on “Centres of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) as governing instruments in universities in England and Germany”
The fifth CHEPS working paper has been published by Katharina Lemmens-Krug. In her paper she investigates how Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs) can best be understood as an instrument of governance in universities, as there is little known about steering efforts by university leaders with regard to teaching and learning. We would like to make use of this opportunity to announce that the CHEPS working paper series has two new series editors: Katharina and Nadine. Together with Paul and our authors we hope to make the Working Paper series a place where we can showcase research activities that we for lack of time may not be able to get quickly into the public domain. Like the blog, the idea is to open the black box of CHEPS and involve a much wider set of our intellectual colleagues as we reflect on the main issues affecting contemporary HE.
